Job Title: Institutional Equity Research 

Job Description: 

• Identifying alpha opportunities and risks; to justifying the investment thesis to institutional

clients.

• The analyst will be responsible for maintaining a continuous coverage on allocated industry sector and individual stocks.

• Collate and analyse industry data from various research database we subscribe to.

• Keep abreast of important trends and developments in the relevant sectors/geographies.

• Make regular presentations to the team on relevant topics/areas of expertise.

• Solve client queries and objections with clarity and confidence.

Skills Required: 

● Proficiency in using financial information databases, such as Bloomberg, Capital line etc.

● Excellent financial modelling and report writing skills with experience in writing ICRs

● Strong understanding of financial concepts, financial statements, ratios and valuation

techniques, including DCF, LBO, SOTP, comparable valuation, etc

● Creation of comprehensive equity research reports covering company profiles, financial analysis, industry trends, investment recommendations, and risk assessments.

● Experience in conducting management calls, expert interviews and in-depth secondary research.

● Experience in conducting road show, management meeting and plant visit
